The dark wizard Maldred has trapped dragon master Eko as well as wizards who have opposed him, all of them frozen in time and space inside a wall in his hideout; so Drake and Worm set out to seek the help of the Time Dragon--but when a imp named Beezel interferes Drake ends up back in his own past, and he must find a way to get back to the present.

When Drake discovers that his friend and fellow Dragon Master, Bo, is trying to steal the Dragon Stone, he wonders if the dark wizard might be behind it, and he must try to find a way to protect the stone while keeping Bo's family out of danger.

The prime Dragon Stone seems to be dying, and that means that the connection between the dragon masters and their dragons is also fading, so the six dragon masters must located the hidden stone, and learn what is causing the problem before their telepathic connection is completely gone.

When the king decides to take the dragons to Arkwood to visit Queen Rose, Rori, Drake, and their dragons are left behind--so when the evil wizard Maldred attacks the castle riding a giant four-headed dragon that spits poison, the two young dragon masters and their dragons are forced to defend the castle by themselves.

The Dragon Masters are still reeling from the desertion of Rori and her fire dragon Vulcan, when Mina, a Dragon Master from the far north, arrives with a problem--King Lars needs a fire dragon to defeat the Ice Giant who has frozen his kingdom; and so the Dragon Masters set out to find Rori and convince her to help.

Lalo the baby lightning dragon has been taken by Eko, a rogue Dragon Master, who ran away with her thunder dragon years before--now she is back looking to make allies of the other dragon masters, and so gain control over all of the dragons in Griffith.

The evil wizard Maldred has stolen the gold and silver keys which will allow him to release the Naga, the powerful earthquake dragon at the center of the earth--so Drake and several of the other Dragon Masters travel to the Naga's Temple in the Dragon Islands, to try and stop Maldred, and prevent him and the earthquake dragon from destroying the kingdom.

Violet, her cousin Leon, and the Pixie Tricker Sprite have a serious problem: the fairy they are dealing with now is a water sprite named Aquamarina, who is not only messing up plumbing all over town, but has made a home in a fish tank at the pet store, and has turned anyone who sees her into fish--in the water she is powerful so the three fairy-hunters must come up with a way to trick her onto dry land where she can be overcome.

The city of Remus is being torn apart by a duel between two wizards, and Drake, Petra, and Griffith have traveled there to assist a blind dragon master, Tessa, in sorting out the situation; using the sound dragon's unique power to manipulate sound waves,the dragon masters retrieve the Power Crystal which is embedded inside an unbreakable rock, but will it be able to absorb the cloud of uncontrolled magic that is threatening the city before it is too...
