    [synopsis] => Sheriff Pat Garrett (Thomas Mitchell) welcomes his old friend Doc Holliday (Walter Huston) to Lincoln, New Mexico. Doc is pursuing a horse stolen by Billy the Kid (Jack Buetel), but unexpectedly, Doc and Billy become friends.
