After jumping from a train and leaving his mistress behind, a writer sees the train crash and subsequent events lead him into a web of murder and a police investigation; After they are told to join a youth club to reform their ways by a magistrate, a group of juvenile delinquents uses the club to expand their illegal operation; A married woman discovers that she is being blackmailed by her first husband, who she thought had died in the war; When a boy is accidentally locked in a bank vault, several people race to save him before the oxygen runs out; When a doctor discovers an actress he just met dead in his apartment, he becomes involved in a web of murder and blackmail.
