Description
In the picturesque Kent countryside, the Larkins are looking forward to a fun-filled summer of 1959. After Pop sells the crumbling mansion next door for more than its worth, he celebrates with plans to build a swimming pool. But the new neighbors soon plot their revenge, catching Pop in their snare. Can Ma and the rest of the Larkin famiy manage to keep him out of prison? Meanwhile, daughter Primrose longs for love when handsome Reverend Candy arrives int he parish, much to the chagrin of the grumpy old vicar.
