Description
He was a loner and a brooding man who trusted nothing and no one--a white man as cunning as any Indian who owned nothing but his horse, his saddle and his guns. He was a man willing to gamble his life to get the woman he wanted. He was Shalako. Now Shalako is determined to cross the bleak Sonora Desert--the Apaches' killing ground--alone. On his way, he finds a European hunting party--and a brave and beautiful young woman--stranded and defenseless. Shalako has no choice. He knows he has to stay and help them fight for their lives.
