"The collection" guest-stars Johnny Cash as Caleb Hodgekiss, a down-on-his-luck con man who poses as a minister to take advantage of the good people of Walnut Grove. His real-life wife, June Carter Cash, plays Mattie Hodgekiss, who warns her husband he's going to get in trouble again when he collects donations for the victims of a fire, intending to take them for himself.
