Description
The widowed father of a young boy works as sheriff in the southern town of Mayberry. This sixth season's 30 episodes are in color instead of black and white. Don Knotts returns to Mayberry for the first two of five visits as Barney Fife, and here is also the first appearance of quirky County Clerk Howard Sprague.
